Privacy Policy

Effective October 22, 2026

The short version

  • We collect your account and profile details, usage and log data, payment information, and anything you send through our forms.
  • We use it to run the platform, bill you accurately, support you, and keep the service secure.
  • We share it only with the providers that help us operate — never with data brokers.
  • You can access, export, correct, or delete your information and opt out of analytics cookies.
  • We don't sell your personal information.

This summary is for convenience — the full text below is what governs.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have when you visit computesphere.com, create a ComputeSphere account, or use the platform. It applies to personal information we control as a business.

It does not cover the content you run on ComputeSphere — your code, environment variables, databases, and the data your own users send to your deployments. We process that on your behalf and under your instructions; how you handle your users’ data is governed by your agreement with us, not this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you create an account or contact us, we collect your name, email address, and account and billing contact details. If you submit a form on our site, we receive what you enter (for example your email and message).

Information from sign-in providers

If you sign in with Google, GitHub, or Microsoft, that provider shares your name, email address, and profile photo with us so we can create and secure your account. We never receive your password.

Information we collect automatically

As you use the site and platform we collect usage and device data — pages viewed, actions taken, IP address, browser, and log data. On our website, analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you agree to them. See Cookies & analytics.

Customer content

We store and process the workloads, configuration, and logs you run on the platform so the service works. We do not mine this content for advertising or sell it.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • provide, operate, and improve the platform;
  • bill you accurately and prevent payment fraud;
  • respond to support requests and send service and account notices;
  • keep the service secure and investigate abuse;
  • understand how the product is used so we can make it better; and
  • send product updates you’ve opted in to (you can unsubscribe anytime).

4. Cookies & analytics

When you first visit computesphere.com, we ask which cookies you’re OK with. Nothing beyond essential cookies runs until you choose, and you can change your choice any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Your choice applies to computesphere.com and its subdomains (including our docs and learning sites) and is kept for 12 months.

Essential: always on. These keep you signed in, remember your settings (such as theme and your cookie choice) and protect our forms from spam.

Analytics: only with your consent. Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and Hotjar help us understand how the site is used. Hotjar may record session insights such as clicks and scrolling, with form inputs masked.

Sign-up attribution cookie

Only with your consent to analytics. We set one first-party cookie of our own, cs_attr, on computesphere.com and its subdomains. It tells us which pages and links lead people to create an account. It records:

  • the campaign tags in the link you followed, if any (for example utm_source);
  • the domain of the site that sent you here — not the full address;
  • the first page you landed on, without any query string;
  • the last sign-up button you clicked; and
  • when each of these happened.

It holds no name, email address, or other contact details, and it expires after 90 days. If you create an account, we save this record with your account once, to understand which channels bring people to ComputeSphere.

Advertising

Only with your consent. If you arrive from one of our ads on Google or ChatGPT and agree to advertising cookies, we also keep the ad’s click identifier (a random id the ad network adds to the link) in cs_attr. If you agree to advertising but not analytics, cs_attr holds only that identifier. If you then create an account, we tell that ad network (Google Ads or OpenAI), from our servers, that the click led to a sign-up and, later, to your first deployment, so we can measure which ads work. We send only the click identifier, the event and its time — not your name, email address, or account details. We delete the click identifier from our records once those events are reported, or 90 days after the click, whichever comes first.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request not to share your data: we don’t load Google Analytics, Google Ads, OpenAI’s measurement tag or Hotjar, and we don’t set cs_attr.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies can’t be turned off without breaking core functionality.

5. How we share your information

We share personal information only as needed to run ComputeSphere:

  • Service providers that operate the platform on our behalf — payments (Stripe), DNS & DDoS protection (Cloudflare), website analytics (Google, Hotjar) and, if you agree to advertising cookies, ad measurement (Google Ads, OpenAI), and form handling (Easerix Forms). They may only use the data to provide their service to us. See our full list of sub-processors.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ComputeSphere, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers — if ComputeSphere is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with data brokers.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t store full card numbers — Stripe handles card data under PCI-DSS standards and shares only what we need to manage your subscription (such as the card brand, last four digits, and billing status).

7. Custom domains & SSL

When you connect a custom domain, we provision and renew SSL certificates for it so traffic to your deployment is encrypted. This involves processing the domain and related technical records.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period — except where we must keep it longer to meet legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see Your privacy rights). Ad-click identifiers are deleted once the related events are reported to the ad network, or 90 days after the click, whichever comes first.

9. Security

We protect personal information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and per-environment isolation on the platform. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify you of a breach affecting your personal information as required by law.

10. International data transfers

ComputeSphere is based in the United States, and we process information there. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information is transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.

11. Your privacy rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] — we’ll verify your request and respond within the time the law allows.

U.S. state privacy rights

If you’re a U.S. resident in a state with a privacy law (such as California), you have the right to know what we collect, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We don’t sell your personal information. Reporting ad clicks to Google Ads or OpenAI (see Cookies & analytics) may count as “sharing” for advertising under some state laws, so it happens only if you agree to advertising cookies. You can opt out any time from Your Privacy Choices or Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, and we honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising a right.

EEA & UK rights

If you’re in the EEA or UK, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection under the GDPR, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We process your data to provide the service (contract), for our legitimate interests in operating and securing it, and with your consent where required.

12. Children

ComputeSphere is built for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform and the law evolve. When we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the product before the change takes effect.
